Fairbanks SWCD Cooperators

Cooperators are private landowners within the District boundaries who sign a conservation agreement with the District and agree to manage their natural resources utilizing wise conservation practices.

A Conservation Agreement is a non-binding agreement between the District and a cooperator (private landowner) where;

The FSWCD agrees to:  Assist the cooperator in carrying out a conservation plan by providing:

·  Information

·  Available equipment

·  Technical assistance and supervision

The Cooperator agrees to:  Develop and follow a feasible conservation plan for his/her land:

·  Manage his/her land in keeping with its needs and capabilities.

·  Utilize information, technical assistance and equipment provided by the district

  for the purpose and manner for which it was intended.

·  Follow the agreed to conservation plan to the best of his/her ability.
