Fairbanks SWCD Cooperators

Cooperators are private landowners within the District boundaries who sign a conservation agreement with the District and agree to manage their natural resources utilizing wise conservation practices.

A Conservation Agreement is a non-binding agreement between the District and a cooperator (private landowner) where;

The FSWCD agrees to:  Assist the cooperator in carrying out a conservation plan by providing:

  Information

  Available equipment

  Technical assistance and supervision

The Cooperator agrees to:  Develop and follow a feasible conservation plan for his/her land:

  Manage his/her land in keeping with its needs and capabilities.

  Utilize information, technical assistance and equipment provided by the district

  for the purpose and manner for which it was intended.

  Follow the agreed to conservation plan to the best of his/her ability.
